FISH BALL SKEWERS

It's crazy,  I was never a fan of  Trout  fish until  I invent something delicious out of it. Fish ball skewers with red and yellow peppers, with hung curd sauce is out of this world amazing.


Save money and calories on takeout with this easy peasy homemade version. Fish on a stick tastes so much better than fish  not on a stick, right??


 And when you get to smother that fish on a stick in with colorful peppers and an sweet and savory hung curd sauce, you're golden.  I mean when  guests are  in queue for  buffet  and you have to eat fish with a fork and knife or even a fork just doesn't cut it then  a  skewer is the way to go. These fish skewers are quite unusual. You will have lots of wonderful flavors in every bite.



Preparation time : 30 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
500 gm Trout fish/ any  fish
2 eggs
1 onion, chopped
few cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon Red chili powder
1 tablespoon Worcester  sauce
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
Salt  to taste
1 cinnamon stick
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 cup semolina
Oil for fry

1 Red  Bell  pepper

1  Yellow Bell pepper

few mint leaves

Sauce:

1 cup hung curd
Fresh parsley
1 tablespoon lemon juice
salt
Olive oil
In a bowl combine all the ingredients together to form a smooth texture.

Cooking Procedure:

Boil fish in water with cinnamon stick and salt, Once boiled, remove bones and flake the fish to make about 4 cups of flaked fish.
In a separate bowl  add flaked fish, eggs, salt, onion, garlic, red chili powder, worcester sauce, soy sauce and tomato ketchup mix well and form into balls. 
In a plate, place semolina and rub each ball into it until well coated. 
Deep fry in oil until golden brown.

Cut red and yellow bell pepper into big pieces and rub with olive oil and grill it

Thread fish ball  and grilled red and yellow peppers, and mint leaves  into skewers . Serve with hung curd sauce.
