Chicken with white sauce and spinach

Chicken with creamy white sauce ,  fresh spinach and mushrooms on dinner table !!! Ah what else you want.




Ingredients:


1/2 cup all purpose flour

5-6 boneless Chicken breasts

6 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 onions chopped

1 cup chicken stock

1 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup sour cream

4 cloves  garlic, minced

1 bunch spinach

1 cup mushrooms

salt  and  ground black pepper  to taste 

2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley chopped

Method:


1.Season Chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

2. Dredge chicken in flour.

3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt two tablespoons butter . Add chicken and cook  until cooked through, about 4-5 minutes on each side and keep aside.

4. In the same skillet,  melt remaining butter. Add chopped onions , garlic,  mushrooms and cook about 3-4 minutes.

5. Add spinach and cook until the spinach has wilted about another 3-4 minutes. Stir in chicken stock and cook, stirring occasionally, until reduced by half.

6. Slowly whisk in heavy cream, sour cream, Parmesan until slightly thickened about 4-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.




7. Serve chicken breasts with spinach mixture, garnished with  parsley, if you want.
