Spicy Chicken

This chicken drumsticks and chicken thigh meat doused in a spicy, flavorful marinade needs to make an appearance on your dinner table soon.

 I love everything about grilling. For me winter is synonymous with being outdoors and grilling. This spicy chicken taste more good if we grill it, but unfortunately, summer is here and we can't go out for grilling. So, I decided to cook in oven, and it tastes heavenly.






I'm sure , this spicy chicken will not disappoint you. 




Ingredients 


1 kg Chicken pieces bone-in , skin -on 

2 onions,  chopped

5-6 garlic cloves

1/2 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons green chili paste

1 teaspoon rice vinegar

3 tablespoons  olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

Method


In a bowl, combine onions, garlic, honey, chili paste, rice vinegar, soy sauce, oil  and salt. Place the chicken pieces in a big bowl and pour the marinade in , making sure all of the chicken is marinate nicely and keep in fridge for 7 to 8 hours. 

Preheat the oven at 250 degree C. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade and lay the chicken pieces on foil paper.  Bake for 20 minutes at 250 degree C then bake at 200 degree C for another 25 minutes. 

Notes: For more flavorful chicken, prick each pieces just a couple of times with a fork before marinating. This helps the marinade penetrate the skin.
