Garlic Chicken and Potatoes

Garlic Chicken and potatoes, one pot meal is  easy and effortless meal for dinner. Potatoes are one of the most filling food and love by all. You don't need to eat a lot and they'll suppress your appetite for hours and a great source of potassium. Chicken loaded with proteins, so what r u looking for!! A great combo of  taste with a full source of vitamins at your dinner table. I add coconut to get additional flavor, but its your choice.

Ingredients:

1 kg chicken pieces with bone-in and skin-on
2 tablespoons black pepper
6 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons mixed herbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
250 gram potatoes
Salt to taste
1/2 cup fresh coconut flakes, grated
2 tablespoons  fresh parsley , chopped

Method:

Marinate Chicken with salt, pepper and mixed herbs.

In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and add chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden color. Now add  potatoes, minced garlic, and salt to taste.

Cover and cook on low heat about 1 and 1/2 hour, until chicken is completely cooked.

Serve immediately, sprinkled fresh coconut flakes for additional  flavor,  if desired.

Garnish with chopped parsley.
