Every time when I receive an invitation from Stoic Marketing Solutions, I get excited, it is all about meeting friends, new people and exploring different types of food and drinks.
Similarly last weekend I got an invitation for the launch party of NYX lounge & Deck of Hotel Palacio lies on the main road of GS Road, just off the busy neighborhood of NH-37, a place to spend an evening with friends. I am really happy to tell you guys that Guwahati get its first pool-in-lounge with launch of NYX lounge & Deck which is on 2nd floor of hotel, and the team is now all geared up to grevamp it's entire Lounge & Deck to welcome festival.
I along with my sister walked in, we were greeted by the staff representatives at the entrance with a beautiful rose as a welcome token and a few shots served in assorted cups of vegetable to welcome guests, what could be the best for an evening to start a launch party. Though I didn't taste those shots, I am pretty sure those shots awakened drink lover's taste buds.
We notice the smart and minimalistic interiors and the best part of it that it has a super wonderful view being the open rooftop in Guwahati and a spree to discover new places, you have hoped of your usual area of comfort.Then came in an array of drinks.Those exhiquisite drinks were:

We all were served a delicious drinks.
We had watermelon mojitos that was a refreshing mocktail that'll soothe your nerves & relax your mind and real mojitos that were amazing drinks of that evening, perfectly balanced all the taste in one drink. Those were authentic mojitos.A perfect cooler to beat the scorching summer heat.
Then came starters they tried their best to serve different flavors. Food is as important as drinks, so many of us always crave for finger licking bites, so they served few delicious bites, those were Chicken satay, Mutton kebabs, fish fingers, Paneer hara kebabs, roasted ports, vada and canopy.
This is a platter of non-veg starter, Chicken satay, Fish finger and Mutton kebabs.
Veg platter includes Paneer hara kebabs, Roasted potatoes and Urad dal finger.
Canopy and vada are the best among all these starters, just effortless to make and super tasty.
With the entrepreneurs like Suresh Podder and Ankit Poddar at the helm of affairs and their meticulous involvement in everything , we'r pretty confident that this lounge will continue to outshine the lounge space in Guwahati. The staff was friendly and courteous and the service was pretty descent. This is one place you won't mind visiting again and again. Belly up to the bar and get your favourite drinks. Have martini , margarita, bloody Mary -plus all the best cocktails and mocktails.
