Tuna Fish Cake

What I love about  this recipe is that I almost always have the necessary ingredients in my kitchen, the tuna fish cake are incredibly easy and quick to make, and they 'r budget friendly too. Oh yes, and they taste great !!Tuna works great and a light pan searing does the job of cooking up this tasty treat without all the fat. Not just for breakfast, lunch anymore, tuna is making a splash on the dinner table in salads, tapas dishes, fish cakes, and more. Pick up a can and get cooking for a delicious dishes that's ready in minutes.


Ingredients:

1 can Tuna fish (available in all super market)
2 potatoes, boiled
1 onion, chopped
3 flakes of garlic, minced
2 eggs
1 tablespoon green chillies, chopped
2 tablespoons tomato ketchup
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup bread crumbs
Salt to taste
Oil for fry

Directions:

 Drain the  tuna fish and keep aside.

In a bowl, mashed boiled potatoes, and add chopped onion, garlic, eggs, tomato ketchup, soy sauce, chopped green chilies, salt, chunks of  tuna fish and mix well until well blended.

Divide the tuna mixture into equal portions and lightly shape and pat into circles about 2 cm thick.



 In a separate plate , place bread crumbs and rub with each cake.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.Pan fry the cakes until browned and crispy, about 3 minutes on each side.

These cakes are great dipped in ketchup, mustard or hot sauce. They are also great as sandwich. Serve with lovely veg or a cool crisp salad.
