Chicken in Apple sauce

Chicken cooked in apple juice is out of the world. I love to add fruits in my meal rather then eating raw. This recipe is one of my experiment with apple, when I left chicken in apple sauce on heat for a long , I got a  delicious sweet sauce for the chicken , when apple juice  reduced down. This recipe is not only super easy to cook , but  it's rich and flavorful.

I always cook with less ingredients which are handy,  all  you need to make this delicious chicken dish is chicken and apple juice besides seasoning.

 Ingredients:

500 gm Chicken pieces (boneless)
2 cups apple juice ( fresh)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon red chili powder

Directions:

Heat a pan on high heat. Don't use non-stick pan.

First pour juice and bring to a boil. Add chicken pieces in it and salt to taste. Cover the pan and cook in low heat for 20 minutes.

Flip the chicken over. Cover the pan and cook for another 10 minutes. Now add pepper and  red chili powder , stir well.  Remove the cover and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the juice is thick, stir chicken pieces every after few minutes.

Watch it closely for the last 2-3 minutes to avoid burning. Remove from heat once chicken is cooked through and juice becomes  honey type consistency.

Garnish it with chopped green onions or chopped parsley. The best way to serve this with rice but I'm pretty much sure your kids will love it with noodles.
