Recipe of Open faced Red bell pepper and Cheese Sandwiches

Sandwich is  one of kid's true joy. You broil your whole open faced sandwich in the oven, the red bell pepper loosen up a bit and releases their juices as the gooey mozzarella melts on top. We have been eating lots of toast for breakfast, alternating between butter and jam, so the red bell pepper and cream cheese was a well needed change. I saw plenty of red bell pepper in my pantry, so I decided to pair them perfectly with the creaminess from the cream cheese , and the warm yeasty flavour  from the bread. I toasted the bread in the oven under broil, which added just the perfect level of crunch. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be eating this toast in breakfast every alternate days. The red bell pepper, onion and cheese with a little touch of oregano open faced sandwich is one such optio  that appeals to all. Quick and easy recipe for breakfast is convenience incarnate as it does not require an elaborate cooking and serving procedure. Please try this with readily available ingredients at home, you can add tomato instead of red bell pepper.

Ingredients for making recipe of open faced red bell pepper sandwich are mentioned below :

6 slices of bread

1 cream cheese

1 red bell pepper, chopped

1 onion, chopped

Few cubes of mozzarella cheese

1 tablespoon oregano


Method:

Cut the sides of bread slices and place on baking tray and bake at pre-heated oven for 5 minutes at 180 degree C. 




Now spread cream cheese on each baked slices and put chopped red bell pepper and onion. Place cheese cubes on top and Sprinkle oregano. Again bake for another 4 to 5 minutes at 180 degree C until cheese melts. 

Serve hot with your choice of dipping.
