Baked Sweet Potatoes

Baked sweet potatoes leave plenty of room for taste bud creativity. Take that tater up notch by loading it with your favourite toppings.Fresh dill, olive oil and a dash of salt and red chili flakes is what I like.


Enjoy as a side dish or on its own as a light lunch or dinner, a baked sweet potato is a full proof deliciousness. Easy as popping that tater into a hot oven and 40 minutes later , you have a steamy bites of  sweet and savory.

Baking sweet potatoes is a simple and delicious way to savor your favourite spud. Very healthy and tasty sweet potatoes that will be a great addition to any meal and is one of the weight loss food too. You can enjoy your meal without fear of put on weight. Easy to make and tasty to eat.




Ingredients:

2 large sweet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup fresh dill, chopped

1 tablespoon red chili flakes

Salt to taste


Method:

Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into medium size pieces. 

Pre-heat oven at 250 degree C. 

Coat the baking dish with olive oil, just enough to coat.  Place the cut sweet potatoes in the baking dish and turn them so that they are coated well with the olive oil. Now, place chopped dill on top of each pieces, sprinkle moderately with red chili flakes and salt.

Bake at 250 degree c for 40 to 50 minutes, until it becomes soft.
