Spaghetti with mushroom and croutons

Wish to eat something different  and reluctant to  take a lot of time to cook and heat up the kitchen , then  try this spaghetti preparation with vibrant notes of mushroom and croutons which is a rare experience to savour. You have already eaten spaghetti with mushroom sauce many a times, try my version of cooking spaghetti without cheese.

 A combination of mushroom and just a few spoonful of cream forms a nice luscious base for spaghetti. Savour every spoonful of this easy but delectable dish. Garlic and onion add speckles of spice to this spaghetti preparation while a generous garnish of croutons gives abundant joy to the diner. It takes no time at all to throw together and goes from gas to plate in just few minutes. I like it because it is fast, easy to cook with very few ingredients and this creamy comforting dish is no exception. Ingredients:

4 cups Spaghetti , boiled

1 tablespoon garlic, chopped

3 tablespoons onion, chopped

1 cup oyster mushroom

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 tablespoons fresh cream

Salt to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil



For garnish

1 cup croutons

2 tablespoons Parsley, chopped


Method:

Cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling water.

Drain spaghetti and reserve a cup of spaghetti water.

Heat olive oil in a frying pan, add chopped onion and garlic saute for 2 to 3 minutes. When onion and garlic turns into light brown color, add mushrooms and fry mushroom for some time.

Add boiled spaghetti  with mushroom, toss to coat, adding the reserved water. Season with salt and pepper. Add 4 tablespoons of fresh cream and lower the heat and simmer.

Garnish with chopped parsley and croutons.



Serve hot !!
