Baked Pumpkin with Herbs

Cuisines all over the world use pumpmin in a variety of ways  from Asia to the middle east, from Greece to France. There is no end to what you can make with this sweet and savoury pumpkin that is so versatile. In India, pumpkin is usually cook in a savoury way but its natural sweetness add to the flavour of baked goods minus the guilt.

Here, I have offset the sweetness of pumpkin and pair it with mixed herbs and chilli flakes to add a little spice. Now you are in for a real treat with this freshly baked pumpkin recipe. Serve it with a plate of salad or fish fillet.



Ingredients: 

250 gram pumpkin, peel and clean it and make slices.

2 tablespoons mixed herbs

1 teaspoon red chili flakes

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt to taste

Directions: 

Preheat oven at 200 degree C. 

Place slices of pumpkin in a baking tray. Now sprinkle mixed herbs, chili flakes, salt and olive oil on top of it.

Bake at 150 degree C for 15 minutes. 



Serve hot !!
