Cream Paneer ( Cottage Cheese)

This paneer ( cottage cheese )  is my tried and tested recipe, using just few ingredients. In India paneer is a substitute of meat for  vegeterian and you will not find too many versions of paneer recipes. I always try to cook anything whatever comes in my hand. My experiment with cooking creates new dishes with different tastes.

This is my another quick and easy recipe full of flavor, buttery creamy paneer will melt into your mouth. 







INGREDIENTS:

500 grams Paneer ( Cottage Cheese )

3 onions

2 tomatoes

3 cloves garlic

1 teaspoon red chili powder

1 teaspoon garam masala  powder

Salt to taste

Pinch of sugar

1 cup fresh cream

1 tablespoon butter

Coriander for garnish


METHOD :

Make a fine paste of onion, tomatoes and garlic. Keep aside.

Cut paneer into cubes.

In a skillet over medium heat, add butter. Now add onion paste and fry for few minutes. Add red chili powder, garam masala powder, salt and sugar into it. Cook for few minutes. When you this mixture is about to cook add cream and stir well. 

Add paneer into this gravy and combine well. Don't cook more then a  minute. Remove from heat and garnish with coriander.


Enjoy with rice or roti !!
