Fish with lemon cream sauce

A wonderful and flavorful dish that you can choose a variety of fish. You can use any type of fish with less bone for this dish, they are all delicate in flavor as is the simple lemon cream sauce. The balance is strength ensures that neither will overwhelm the other  the sauce just enhances the taste of fish. You can put pickled chilies in this dish, this will add surprisingly complex flavor. It doesn't get much simpler then lemon zest, cream, lemon juice, salt and fresh herbs to get additional aroma, turmeric brings golden colour in this dish.

All you need to make fantastically favorful fish is the right sauce. This recipe is perfect dinner meal for fish lovers.





INGREDIENTS:

2 tablespoons butter

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/2 cup fresh cream

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 tablespoons plain flour

1 tablespoon pickled chilies to add extra spicy ( optional )

Fresh thyme or any herbs that is handy for garnish.


DIRECTIONS:

In a non stick pan, melt butter over moderate heat. Rub fish with salt and pepper. Dust the fish with the flour and shake off any excess. Put the fish in a pan and cook for 2 to 3  minutes. Turn and cook until done about two minutes longer. Remove fish from the pan and keep aside. 

In the same pan, add cream,  lemon zest , salt and turmeric and cook till it becomes thicken. Stir in the remaining lemon juice.  

In a plate pour sauce and add fish on it, place chopped pickled chilies on top and garnish with herbs of your choice.
