Recipe of Til Chutney ( Sesame chutney )

Sesame seeds or Til is enough to enhance the flavour of any dish. We often relish mint chutney, coriander chutney with main course, so why not til chutney to make your main course more delicious. This recipe is a popular recipe of Nepal, in every occasions, Nepali community never miss this recipe. When you are vegetarian, we always tend to cook something different to make  meals tasty. Today, we learnt this recipe from our neighbour who is Nepali, and everyone at home just love this til chutney.  This sesame seeds / til chutney is a combination of vegetables like bitter taste of bitter gourd and  tangy taste of lemon juice would be your next favourite chutney at your home. 






Ingredients for the recipe of til chutney : 


1 cup sesame seeds ( til ) powder, make it at home by roasting sesame seeds, then grind it. 
1 /2 cup  potatoes ,  cut into small size
1 /2 cup bitter gourd thinly slices 
1/2 cup green peas
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 -3 green chilies, chopped
Salt to taste
Mustard Oil for frying

Method for making recipe of til chutney :


Make a powder of sesame seeds by roasting it then grind it. 

In a skillet over high heat, add oil and fry potatoes , bitter gourd and green peas and keep aside. 

In a medium size bowl, add fried potatoes, green peas , bitter gourd , chopped green chilies , roasted sesame seeds powder and season with salt . Add lemon juices and mix it well . 

Now chutney is ready .

Enjoy with rice or roti !!
