Vegetable patties and broccoli stew with noodles

Vegetable patties  are delicious whether baked or fried. Its creamy inside with crispy coating when it fry. I tried both ways, and these patties when added in  stew along with blanced broccoli to add more greens in diet are amazing and this recipe will make your dinner fancy and fabulous. This stew goes so well with noodles that you will ask again and again.




INGREDIENTS :

For Patties:

1/2 cup carrots, chopped

2 tablespoons capsicum, chopped

2 tablespoons cabbage, chopped

1 teaspoon chopped ginger garlic

2 tablespoons corn flour

2 tablespoons flour

Oil for frying

Salt

For Stew :

2 Onions

1 teaspoon chopped ginger garlic

Salt and pepper according to taste

Pinch of sugar

2 tablespoons corn flour

1 teaspoon soy sauce optional

2 cups Broccoli, blanced


1 packet Noodles, boiled


Method :

Vegetable patties

In a mixing bowl, combine all vegetables, salt, chopped ginger garlic, corn flour,  flour and add water to mix it.

Heat oil on medium heat and fry patties one by one, remove it and place on kitchen towel.

Stew :

Heat oil in a heavy pan over medium heat. Add onions, chopped ginger garlic, cook for 5 minutes. Stirring continuously.

Cover, reduce heat to simmer and cook until onions are tender.

Stir occassionally while cooking. Now add salt, sugar, soy sauce and stir it well.

In a small bowl, mix cornflour with water and pour in stew.

Stir it and cook for 5 more minutes. Add black pepper before remove from heat and stir it again.

Add vegetable patties and broccoli in stew when you are ready to serve.


Serve: Place noodles and  pour stew on top of it and serve hot.
