Pineapple Paneer ( cottage cheese )

Paneer / cottage cheese dipped in pineapple sauce , which is tangy, spicy and saccharine sweet tbat I'm pretty sure you would definetly gobble. Paneer is a substitute of meat  for vegeterian in India and most of the recipes are quotidian. Once I tried pineapple with paneer to make something different as experiment with cooking is my hobby and the result is that I started making this offen on demand of my friends and family. 

This fingerlicking recipe is quick and super easy to make with a handful of ingredients. 






INGREDIENTS :

250 grams Paneer / cottage cheese, make long strips or cubes

For Sauce :

2 cups pineapple pieces

1 teaspoon red chili powder

2 tablespoons molases or sugar

Salt

Oil for cooking


DIRECTIONS :

In a blender, put pineapple pieces and blend it until you get creamy texture.

In a skillet over medium heat, add oil and pour pineapple puree. Stir it well. Add molases/ sugar, salt and red chili powder. Cook for sometime in low heat. Add little water to make it light gravy. 

When sauce is about to cook add paneer strips. Stir it well and remove from heat. 




Serve with roti, rice, pulao or  bread !!
