Cauliflower with coconut and coriander

Cauliflower can be eaten in  different ways if you are in love with this vegetable. In winters cauliflower is available in every nook and corner of market and you will find one of the cauliflower recipe in your daily menu. So, cooked with coconut and coriander to get different taste in daily cooking.





INGREDIENTS :

500 grams cauliflower florets

1 onion, chopped

1/2 cup grated coconut

1 bunch coriander

2 green chillies

Salt

Pinch of turmeric optional

Oil for cooking

METHOD :

Boil water with salt in high heat, now add cauliflower florets and bring to boil. Strain water and keep aside.

In a blender, put coconut, coriander, green chilies and onion, blend it until you get smooth paste.

In a skillet over medium heat, add oil and pour coconut mixture, stir it continuously, add salt and turmeric, cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water into it and stir it well.

Add boiled cauliflower florets into it and mix it with the gravy well. Cook for another 2 minutes ,  remove from heat and garnish with fresh coriander.


Serve hot with flat bread or rice.
