Green peas chutney

We all are aware that chutney is an  integral part of Indian meal, whether it is spicy, tangy , aromatic, savory or sweet taste made from fruits , herbs, vegetables or spices enhances the flavours and turns even a boring , bland or simple dish into a delicacy.  It’s used to provide balance to an array of dishes or highlight a specific flavour profile. Regardless of its texture, ingredients or consistency, chutney is now applied to anything preserved in sugar and vinegar or salt and spices. 




Chutneys have a distinct taste that can be used as a spread or dip and it helps in digestion and increase appetite too. 




Chutney is the most essential side dish of Indian cuisine that gives a pleasant jolt to the taste buds and scores high with almost all types of snacks and meals. It is the easiest and simplest way to make chutney by using any available ingredients be it fruits , veggies or spices in your pantry. 





Ingredients: 

1 cup green peas ( frozen or fresh ) 
4-5 garlic cloves 
1-2 green chillies
Small piece of ginger 
1/2 bunch of coriander leaves
Salt to taste 
Red chilli  powder to sprinkle on top 

Method : 

Add all the ingredients in a grinder and grind it to a smooth paste . Transfer into a bowl , season with salt and sprinkle red chili powder on top. Serve it with hot paranthas or with dal and rice . 

I had few micro greens so garnished with it .
