Breakfast Bar

Breakfast is always our favourite meal and it should be healthy and well balanced having all the dietary nutrients like carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins and essential minerals. As we are aware that breakfast is the fuel that charges you up and keeps you going for the rest of the day. Our morning meal is like a launch button that supplies energy to our system and keeps us pepped up for the day ahead after the night long hibernation mode that the body stays in.






In the recent past people have become doubly aware of the significance of good and wholesome breakfast in their daily diet plan. There has been a sudden surge in the healthy breakfast options. Tailor made breakfast options have therefore gained popularity.  





Today, I am going to share one of the easy. healthy, well balanced and most importantly delicious breakfast recipe called breakfast bar because of its shaped like bars. If you love healthy eating ideas, then you will love exploring this recipe. You can even prepare the night before so that you can easily make breakfast for your entire family and this can be a great tiffin too for your kids. 


Ingredients:

5 eggs
1/2 cup carrot, chopped
1/2 cup french beans, chopped
1/2 cup capsicum, chopped
1/2 cup green peas
1/2 cup onion, chopped
salt and black pepper according to taste
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1/2 cup milk

Method: 

Preheat oven at 200 degree C. 

In a large bowl, add all chopped veggies, salt, black pepper and mixed herbs. Then in another bowl, mix milk and eggs and pour over veggies mixture . Combine it well and pour over greased baking dish.

Bake it in 180 degree C for 25-30 minutes . Once baked let it cool down and cut into square size. 

Serve it with your choice of dip or sauce.
