Til Aloo Chutney anyone !!
Til aloo chutney is another delicacy made with black sesame seeds or Til which is enough to enhance the flavour of any dish. We often relish mint chutney, coriander chutney with main course, so why not til chutney to make your main course more delicious.
This recipe is a popular recipe of Nepal, in every occasions, Nepali community never miss this recipe. When you are vegetarian, we always tend to cook something different to make meals tasty.
Today, I’m sharing easiest recipe of til aloo chutney , everyone at home just love this til chutney. Usually this sesame seeds / til chutney is a combination of vegetables like bitter taste of bitter gourd , but with only boiled potatoes and green peas with a tangy taste of lemon juice is also delicious and I’m pretty sure it would be your next favourite chutney at your home.
Ingredients for the recipe of til chutney :
1 cup sesame seeds ( til ) powder, make it at home by roasting sesame seeds, then grind it.
1 cup boiled potatoes , cut into medium size
1 large onion , thinly slices
1/2 cup green peas
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 -3 green chilies, chopped
Salt to taste
Mustard Oil for frying
Method for making recipe of til chutney :
Make a powder of sesame seeds by roasting it then grind it.
In a skillet over high heat, add oil and fry green peas and keep aside.
In a medium size bowl, add boiled potatoes , thinly sliced onions , fried green peas , chopped green chilies , roasted sesame seeds powder and season with salt . Add lemon juices and mix it well .
Enjoy with rice or roti !!
